Gregory S. Moss' LA BREA Debuts Tonight with Clubbed Thumb's SUMMERWORKS
(6/20/2013) - The third of three world-premieres presented by the 5-time Obie Award-winning Clubbed Thumb in its 18th annual SUMMERWORKS festival of new plays -- LA BREA by Gregory S. Moss -- begins previews tonight, June 20 prior to its official press opening June 23 at The Wild Project (195 E. 3 St.) in Manhattan. LA BREA performs daily at 8 p.m. from June 20 to 29. (No performance on June 24.)
David Abeles to Join THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 as 'Pierre,' Beginning 7/9
(6/19/2013) - David Abeles (Once, Original Cast Member) will take over the role of 'Pierre' in the hit downtown production ofNATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 beginning Tuesday, July 9th. Dave Malloy, the show's creator, will play his final performance as 'Pierre' Friday, June 21st, as he leaves to work on several new projects including commissions from LCT3, San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater, and the Youth Musical Theater Company in Berkeley, as well as upcoming shows at the Incubator Arts Project and The Bushwick Starr. From June 22nd through July 7th, the role of 'Pierre' will be played by Luke Holloway.
STOMP Named 'Legend of Off Broadway' at 2013 Off Broadway Alliance Awards

The award is given for sustained achievement in the world of Off Broadway. Accepting on behalf of the show's creators Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas were original cast member and current New York rehearsal director Fiona Wilkes, and current cast member Jason Mills.

Beginning this week, there will be $49 tickets available for Wednesday matinees, Saturday early evening performances, and Sunday matinees. Rush tickets can be purchased at the box office of Kazino (West 13th Street and Washington Street) beginning 2 hours prior to the posted curtain time, as well as online at www.thegreatcometof1812.com beginning the day of the performance at 10am by using the code RUSH at check-out. Food and drink is not included with the purchase of a rush ticket.

Prospect Theater Hosts UNLOCK'D Talkback with Carner & Gregor Tonight
